Named from the Kirundi word ‘urubingo’ meaning ‘reeds’ which grow along the river to prevent the surrounding erosion, Kibingo coffee grows in the Kayanza province at an altitude of 6200 feet. This exceptional coffee has flavor notes ranging from floral citrus to heavy caramel. It has a profile that is balanced between fruity sweetness and toasted bread aromas with a lingering aftertaste of tropical fruity flavors.
The purchase of Kibingo coffee helps to provide healthcare for one hundred farmers and their families who otherwise could not afford insurance.
